streaming music

I‘m a part of an a capella group on Boston University’s campus, called In Achord. This year, we came out with a pretty awesome EP on all streaming platforms. Give it a listen:)

operatic solos

“Down by the Salley gardens”

Originally a poem by W.B. Yeats, the 20th-century composer, Benjamin Britten, transformed it into a beautiful Irish-folk piece. The song embraces the recollection of lost love and the desire to change the past.

Solo accepted into Boston University’s School of Music (CFA)

“When I Have sung my songs to you”

This early 1900s expressive melody encompasses both a popular and classical style. The lyric, "I could never sing again except to you!” shows just how affectionate this love ballad is.

Solo performed for Boston University’s School of Music (CFA) Fall ‘21 Final Juries

“all that jazz”

Sample from the ever-famous musical, Chicago, with my role as Velma Kelly in my high school’s production. This jazzy song perfectly represents the mood of the 1920s and is one of the most popular songs in the musical genre.

Role as Velma nominated for Best Female Vocalist under 2019 Greater Philadelphia Cappies

“hypotheticals”

This cover from Lake Street Dive was transposed into a mixed voice arrangement for my a cappella group, In Achord. We performed this song a number of times during the school year, including performances at other surrounding Boston schools, on-campus events, and even in our now streaming EP, Theoretically Forever.
